The Storytellers

This page is where I’m going to give you some more info about my book series: The Storytellers.

The Storytellers is an idea I came up with while trying to figure out a title for a book I’m currently working on. I won’t go into too much detail, but basically my prolog started it. I was fiddling with the idea of using 2nd person writing (like ‘Choose your Own Adventure’ books) and it was crap. So I rewrote it and now it’s a lot different (and a WHOLE lot better), but the idea is still the same.

I have no idea how long this series is going to be, but I would like to make it a long as possible, with multiple genres and unique storylines.

Anyway, a Storyteller is a type of calling; You either become a Storyteller because someone in your family is, or you are chosen. No one knows if they’ve been chosen until they see the Door. It could appear at any moment in any place, but it always leads to the same room. In this room is someone who wants to tell their story, so they search for a Storyteller, and once they find one they share the story they feel will benefit others. It is then the Storyteller’s job to write down the stories they’re told and share them with others.

now my series is going to be about a boy named Peter, who finds out he is a Storyteller. The story he is told will be the first book in the series (which still needs a name) and it’s a story about discovering yourself and gaining self confidence.

I created this series because I love reading, and so many books have shaped me into the person I am today, and I want to do the same for others. I want my books to share positive messages and helping people realize their true potential.
